Half Marathon Firenze 4 April 2027
Uisp Firenze organizes the 43rd edition of Half Marathon Firenze on 4 April 2027 in Florence. The event includes two races:
- 21,097 km mezza maratona, competitive
- 10,00 km Ludico Motoria, noncompetitive
The competitive half marathon admits athletes aged 18 and over. Participants in the competitive race must hold a valid medical certificate of fitness specific to athletics; foreign competitors not resident in Italy have additional documentation and medical exam requirements, and some certificates must be submitted in English or Italian in advance. Registrations are handled online and in specific group procedures; places are limited to 5,000 for the half marathon and 1,000 for the 10 km.
Entries are non refundable, but transfers to next year or to another athlete are possible under the event rules and within set deadlines, with administrative fees. Race services for registered participants include a race bib with disposable timing chip, medical assistance and insurance, a race pack with a technical shirt, on course and finish refreshments, a massage service, official finishers medal for competitive runners, and automatic timing. The course runs through the historic city; some sections are paved with stone and can be uneven. The event enforces a maximum time to complete the half marathon of three hours.
