Estra Firenze Marathon 2026
The Estra Firenze Marathon is an international running event held in the city of Florence. The 42nd edition of this race is scheduled for November 29, 2026, and is limited to a maximum of 13,000 participants. The course covers the iconic distance of 42.195 km, leading through the historical center, medieval alleys, and landmarks such as Piazza del Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and scenes along the Arno river.
Event Details
The event is open to various categories of participants, including athletes registered with FIDAL, World Athletics-affiliated federations, and holders of a RUNCARD. Participants must be at least 20 years old. Foreign participants without a federation membership may participate in a non-competitive category with a focus on tourist goals, though they will not be included in official prize rankings. Registration fees increase in tiers as the race date approaches.
