Medal Madness 5K, 10K & 13.1M in Richmond, KY
Medal Madness on 07/31/2027 is a set of local road races held at 500 White Hall Shrine Rd., Richmond, KY. The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles
Races are organized by US Road Running and are described as low-pressure events for runners and walkers. Organizers provide a clear course, finisher medals, and official results. Most events are small and have a relaxed community feel while still providing race staff to manage the event.
Registration information is available for each distance; listed fees are $30.00 for the 5K, $45.00 for the 10K, and $65.00 for the 13.1 mile race. Registration opened in January 2022 and closes on the day of the race.
Race-day services are limited: staffing is typically one or two people, EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Runners and walkers should plan for the weather and carry any items they may need between laps. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
