Event overview
The Medal Madness race takes place on June 13, 2026, at Vietnam Veterans Park in Concord, NC (760 Orphanage Rd, Concord, NC 28027). The event includes the following distances:
- 5K, out-and-back using the 1.56M segment
- 10K, out-and-back using the 1.56M segment twice
- Half Marathon, out-and-back using the 1.64M segment four times
All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Registration prices increase on the Monday before the race.
Course and race details
The event is based at the Dogwood Shelter. The course surface is primarily paved with a stretch of gravel and dirt. The course is shaded and public bathrooms are located in the right corner of the parking lot when entering. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in effect.
The 5K/10K course is described as an out-and-back (3.11M roundtrip) using a 1.56M segment. The Half Marathon course is described as an out-and-back (3.28M roundtrip) using a 1.64M segment repeated four times.
