Event details
The Pirate 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place at Vietnam Veterans Park in Concord, NC on April 11, 2026. Distances offered are:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Entry fees increase on the Monday before the race. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, costume recognition, series points, and awards are listed as part of the event offerings.
Course and facilities
The event is based at the Dogwood Shelter. The course surface is mainly paved with a stretch of gravel and dirt and is described as shaded. Restrooms are located in the right corner of the parking lot when first entering the park. Course layouts use out-and-back loops: the 5K follows the out-and-back once, the 10K follows it twice, and the half marathon follows a similar out-and-back four times.
