Medal Madness 5K, 10K and Half Marathon in Rocky Mount, NC
The event at 799 Pennsylvania Ave in Rocky Mount, NC includes three measured road races: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon (13.1 Miles). Courses are organized as repeated short out-and-back loops that combine to the published distances.
The 5K and 10K use a loop of 0.78 miles. The out and back segment measures 1.56 miles; the 5K completes that segment two times and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a loop of 1.09 miles. Its out and back segment is 2.18 miles and is repeated six times for the half marathon distance.
All runners must register on RunSignup; no on-site registration is available. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the Half Marathon.
