Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Springdale
The event is held at Shaw Family Park in Springdale, Arkansas, located at 7341 W Downum Rd. The start area is next to the park splash pad. The event includes three distance options presented below.
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
Course format and laps are specified for each distance. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back route; the 5K completes that route twice and the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses a separate out-and-back route repeated six times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Packet pickup is available before the race, beginning 30 minutes prior and ending 10 minutes prior to the race start. All participants must register through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
All finishers receive a themed finisher medal. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes; a group photo is taken at the start of each race and a best costume award is presented at that time. The event earns points toward the US Road Running Race Series. Award information and series details are provided by the series organizer.
