Event details
The Viking 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon is scheduled for February 21, 2026, at Rotary Park in Columbus, GA (1300 Victory Dr, 31901). The event includes these distances:

- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race. Bathrooms are located in the parking lot.
Course and awards
The courses are paved and include shaded sections. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back route: the 5K completes the route once and the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon uses an out-and-back course repeated four times. There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
All finishers receive a themed finisher medal. Costumes are optional; a Best Costume award is given and mailed after the race. The race earns points toward the US Road Running Race Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
