Event overview
The Viking 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place on February 21, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia at Rotary Park (1300 Victory Dr, Columbus, GA 31901). The event offers the following distances:

All participants must register online on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. The event is organized by US Road Running.
Course and logistics
The courses are paved and include shaded sections. Bathrooms are located in the parking lot. Course formats are out-and-back segments repeated to create the full race distances:
- The 5K and 10K use a 0.78 mile segment (1.56 miles out-and-back); the 5K repeats this segment twice and the 10K repeats it four times.
- The Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile segment (2.16 miles out-and-back) repeated six times.
There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The event includes finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume element, series points, and awards.
