Event details

The Run for Mercy is a 5k road race scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Columbus, GA (31901). The event meets at Iron Bank Coffee, 12 W 11th St., Columbus. The course goes along Broadway, the Riverwalk, and through Uptown. The event benefits MercyMed and the Muscogee Rotary Club.

Registration, fees and awards

Early registration is listed at $30. A higher fee applies in late February, with $40 shown for race day. To be guaranteed an event shirt, registration must be completed by February 20. Packet pick-up is at Big Dog Fleet Feet (12 W 11th St.) on February 27 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with late packet pick-up and on-site registration the morning of the event.

Awards are planned for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall, a masters winner, and age-group awards for male and female categories. Age-group divisions include under 14, 15-19, and 10-year age groups continuing up to 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
