Event overview
The Viking event takes place on February 7, 2026, at Rotary Park in Columbus, GA (1300 Victory Dr, 31901). The event includes three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
Course and logistics
The courses are on paved roads. Bathrooms are located in the parking lot. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Course formats and repetitions are described as out-and-back segments. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back segment of 1.56 miles; the 5K repeats that segment twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon uses an out-and-back segment of 2.16 miles repeated six times.
