US Road Running - Longview
The US Road Running event at the Paul Boorman Trail Park in Longview, Texas, features multiple distance options on a paved out-and-back course. The park is located at the intersection of East Fairmont Street and Princeton Avenue. Registration is handled online through RunSignup, as there is no on-site registration available. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race concludes shortly before the official start.
Participants can choose from the following race distances:
- 5K: This course involves repeating a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop two times.
- 10K: This course involves repeating the 1.56-mile out-and-back loop four times.
- Half Marathon: This 13.1-mile distance involves repeating a 2.16-mile out-and-back loop six times.
There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. While not mandatory, runners have the opportunity to participate in a best costume contest, with a group photo taken at the start of the event.
