US Road Running - Longview
The US Road Running event in Longview, Texas, takes place at Paul Boorman Trail Park. The race headquarters is located near the corner of E. Fairmont St and Princeton Ave. Participants are advised that parking availability at the venue is limited. Registration is required through RunSignup prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the race.
The event features multiple distances on out-and-back courses:
- 5K: A single completion of the 3.11-mile out-and-back loop.
- 10K: Two repetitions of the 3.11-mile out-and-back loop.
- Half Marathon: Four repetitions of a 3.28-mile out-and-back loop.
The course has a total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. Runners have the opportunity to participate in a best costume award, which is determined at the beginning of the event. All finishers receive a medal upon completion of their race. The event is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing participants to earn points toward series rankings.
