About the race
The Jingle Bell Jog 5K Run/Walk for Alzheimer’s is scheduled for December 6, 2026 in Stanford, Kentucky, with the course on Main Street. The event supports the Alzheimer’s Association through participant entry fees.
There are both in-person and virtual participation options. Merchandise choices include a race shirt, a 1/4 zip tech pullover, or both, with different registration fees listed for each option. Race-day registration and packet pickup are located at the Stanford Baptist Church Christian Life Center (CLC), 204 Church St.
The course includes three present locations where participants may choose one wrapped present and are asked to keep it wrapped until after they finish. Around the halfway point there is an opportunity to pick up a cookie and/or a candy cane, and three water stations are located along the route. Restrooms are available inside the Christian Life Center, in porta-potties outside the CLC, and on Main Street beside the CASA office near the start area. Awards are presented at the Christian Life Center after the final participant finishes.
Post-race refreshments at the Christian Life Center include vegetable soup, chicken noodle soup, cookies, candy canes, and hot chocolate. The event also accepts donations of new baby dolls at packet pickup. A minimum of $20 from each paid entry fee is donated to the Alzheimer’s Association, and the event has donated more than $253,000 to date.
