Event
The Medal Madness event takes place at Michael O Buchanon Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky (9222 Nashville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101). The event includes a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A packet pickup is offered before the race. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Course and race features
The courses are run on a gravel surface and use out-and-back segments mapped by the organizer. Distances are arranged as follows:
- 5K - two repeats of a 0.78 mile out-and-back segment
- 10K - four repeats of the same 0.78 mile out-and-back segment
- Half Marathon - six repeats of a 1.09 mile out-and-back segment
