Event overview
The Viking 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon is scheduled for February 7, 2026, at Medal of Honor Park in Mobile, AL (1711 Hillcrest Rd, Mobile, AL 36609). The event program includes the following distances:

All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts.
Courses and logistics
The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back segment. The basic segment is 0.78 miles; the full out-and-back measures 1.56 miles. The 5K completes that out-and-back two times, and the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon course uses a 1.09-mile segment; the out-and-back is 2.18 miles and is repeated six times for the half marathon distance. The course time limit for the event is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
