Logistics and course
The 5k route passes through the Fruit & Nut District of downtown Fairhope and finishes along Mobile Bay at Knoll Park. The 1-mile fun run is an out-and-back course along Bayview Avenue. The 5k will use chip timing; the bib for the 5k contains a timing chip. The fun run will not be chip timed.
Packet pickup is available before race day at a specified location and on race morning at Knoll Park / Henry George Bluff Park. Awards for the 5k are given to the top male and female in each age group. All fun run finishers receive a foot bead, and the top five male and female elementary-age fun-run participants receive prizes. Volunteers will monitor and direct both courses.
