US Road Running - Spokane
The Luau 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is a recurring running event held in Spokane, Washington. The competition takes place at the entrance to the Ben-Burr trail, with participant parking located at the nearby Disc Golf Course. All participants are required to register online prior to the event, as there is no registration available on-site.
The event offers three distinct distances:
- 5K: A 5-kilometer run consisting of two out-and-back laps.
- 10K: A 10-kilometer run consisting of four out-and-back laps.
- 13.1 Miles: A half marathon consisting of six out-and-back laps.
The total course time limit for all participants is 3 hours and 30 minutes. The out-and-back layout for the 5K and 10K is based on a 1.56-mile loop, while the Half Marathon utilizes a slightly longer 2.18-mile loop.
Participants receive finisher medals upon completion of their respective distances. The event also features a best costume competition, although costumes are not a requirement for participation. This race is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing runners to earn points toward series standings. Packet pickup is scheduled at the event location shortly before the start of the races.
