L.O.S Last One Standing, Spokane WA, May 29, 2027
L.O.S is an endurance event organized by Phase One Missions in Spokane, Washington on May 29, 2027. The format requires participants to run a 4 mile route every hour on the hour, repeating laps until a single participant remains. A participant's challenge ends if they fail to complete the 4 mile distance before the next hour begins or if they inform the Race Director that they are tapping out. Pacers are not allowed.
The course is composed of two laps of a 1.56 mile loop plus a short out-and-back to make four miles. Runners encounter the same hill three times each hour. Elevation gain and loss per 1.56 mile loop is roughly 80 feet.
One semi-stocked aid station will be available with Tailwind Endurance Fuel, NeverSecond C30 energy gels, 1st Phorm protein bars and energy drinks, plus water and various snack options. Runners are encouraged to be largely self-sufficient and carry required gear such as a head lamp, running gear, food, water, and electrolytes.
Crew access is allowed in a designated section of the parking lot as authorized by trail owners. Packet pick-up is offered at Fleet Feet Kendall Yards (1315 W Summit Pkwy, Spokane, WA 99201) on Friday 22 May and at the race location on Saturday 23 May. Personal gear and tents may be staged along the start line, and camping at the site is permitted from Friday evening. There are no refunds at this time.
