Event details
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for March 28, 2026, at Liberty Park in Spokane, Washington (1300 E 5th Ave, Spokane, WA 99202). The event offers multiple race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The organizer is US Road Running. Finisher medals will be provided. Shirts and race gear are available through the event gear shop. Awards, series points, and a best costume prize are part of the event program. An FAQ is provided by the organizer.
Course and logistics
The starting line is at the entrance to the Ben-Burr trail. Participants are asked to park at the Disc Golf Course. Course layouts use out-and-back loops with specified repeat counts: the 5K/10K loop measures 1.56 miles for a full out-and-back; the 5K completes that out-and-back twice and the 10K four times. The Half Marathon uses a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop repeated six times. There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
