Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Sapulpa, OK (24)
The event takes place at Kelly Lane Park in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. It offers three road race distances and provides finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, costume recognition, series points and awards. The meeting location is the pavilion next to the playground.
Registration must be completed on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before it begins. The entry fee increases on the Monday before the race. The race has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Courses are organized as measured out-and-back loops. The 5K and 10K use a 0.78 mile loop that becomes a 1.56 mile out-and-back segment; the 5K completes that segment twice and the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09 mile loop that becomes a 2.18 mile out-and-back segment and is completed six times for the half marathon distance.
