Event Overview
US Road Running organizes this racing event at the pavilion next to the playground in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. The event features multiple distance options on out-and-back courses. All participants must register via the RunSignup platform before the race date, as there is no registration available on-site. Course Information
The event utilizes two specific out-and-back course layouts. The 5K and 10K routes are based on a 0.78-mile segment, resulting in a 1.56-mile individual out-and-back loop. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09-mile segment, creating a 2.18-mile individual out-and-back loop. Participants complete these loops multiple times depending on their chosen distance. There is an overall course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all events.
The following distances are available:
- 5K: This distance requires completing the out-and-back loop two times.
- 10K: This distance requires completing the out-and-back loop four times.
- Half Marathon: This 13.1-mile distance requires completing the out-and-back loop six times.
Additional Features
All finishers receive a medal upon completion of their race. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and a group photo is taken at the start. Awards are presented based on age groups and overall placement. The event is part of the US Road Running race series, and runners can earn points toward series standings.
