New Year 5K, 10K and 13.1 Miles in Winston-Salem
This event takes place on January 9, 2027 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, at 285 Meadowlark Dr. The organizer lists three race distances and published registration fees and windows for each distance.
The race format and services are described as local and community focused. Participants can expect a clear course, race staff, finisher medals, and posted results. Because many events are small, staffing is limited to one or two people at each race. Emergency medical services are not stationed on site. Water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish.
Registration details provided for each distance:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles
Published registration fees are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the half marathon. Registration opening and closing dates are listed per distance, with registrations opening in December 2021 and closing on the event date in January 2027.
Participants should plan for weather and any needs between laps, and may check with race staff on race day for assistance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
