About the race
Medal Madness at Gadsden is a running event held at 829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901, behind the Gadsden Mall. The courses run on a pea gravel trail and use repeated out and back segments.

- 10K
- 13.1 Miles
The 5K and 10K use the same out and back segment that measures 1.56 miles; the 5K repeats that segment two times and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon uses a longer out and back segment of 3.18 miles and repeats that segment six times. A course time limit is set at 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Registration is online only through RunSignup; there is no on site registration. Listed registration fees are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the 13.1 mile race. GPS directions may lead to a small building on Old S 4th Street; if so, proceed south on Old S 4th Street and turn right into the parking lot to reach the event area behind the mall.
