Event details
The Luau takes place on May 23, 2026, in Gadsden, Alabama, at James Martin Trail Park (829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901). The event includes the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All runners must register on RunSignup. No on-site registration is available. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Course and other information
The courses run on a pea gravel trail behind the Gadsden Mall. The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back segment: a 0.78-mile section that forms a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. The 5K repeats that out-and-back twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon also uses an out-and-back loop that is repeated six times. GPS may direct participants to a small building on Old S 4th Street; in that case proceed south on Old S 4th Street and turn right into the parking lot.
