Event Overview
The US Road Running event in Temple, Texas, features a series of road races centered around the Wilson Park Recreation Center. This luau-themed event offers participants a variety of distances held on out-and-back courses. Participants can take part in several different race lengths:
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K: Two laps of the out-and-back 5K course.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of a dedicated 3.28-mile out-and-back course.

Course Details
The courses are designed as out-and-back routes. The 5K and 10K share a specific loop, while the Half Marathon utilizes a slightly different out-and-back segment. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances.
All finishers across every distance receive a finisher medal. The event also includes a costume competition, where participants are encouraged but not required to dress in themed attire.
