Event overview
The Pirate races take place on April 18, 2026, at Crossroads Recreational Complex in Temple, Texas. The event includes three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All participants must register online; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is available starting 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Course and logistics
The courses are paved and use out-and-back layouts. The 5K/10K route is an out-and-back of about 3.11 miles; the 5K completes that out-and-back once and the 10K twice. The half marathon course is an out-and-back of about 3.28 miles and is completed four times for the half distance.
Bathrooms are located behind the tennis court. Parking is available in the lot by the Crossroads Tennis Courts, off Prairie View Road.
