US Road Running Pirate Event in Temple
This event at Crossroads Park in Temple, Texas, features multiple distance options on a paved out-and-back course. Participants can choose between three different race lengths:
- 5K: One out-and-back lap.
- 10K: Two out-and-back laps.
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles): Four out-and-back laps.
The course surfaces are entirely paved. There is a general time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Parking for the event is located in the lot near the Crossroads Tennis Courts off Prairie View Road, with restroom facilities available behind the tennis court area.
Registration is required in advance through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the event site during a specific window prior to the start. All finishers receive a medal. Participants also have the option to engage in a costume contest, with a group photo taken at the start of the race.
