The New Year 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon takes place on January 3, 2026, at James Wilson Park in Temple, TX (2205 Curtis B Elliot Dr, Temple, TX 76501). Distances offered include:

Course and logistics
Courses are run as out-and-back loops. The 5K and 10K use a 3.11-mile out-and-back route; the 5K completes the out-and-back once and the 10K twice. The half marathon uses a 3.28-mile out-and-back loop completed four times, and the marathon completes that out-and-back eight times. The race start is next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center.
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A six-hour course time limit is in place. The event lists finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, awards, and an FAQ provided by the race organizer.
