Event Overview
The US Road Running event in York takes place at Cousler Park. This organized run offers a variety of distances held on a paved out-and-back course within the park. Participants can choose between three distinct race lengths which all share the same venue and starting area near Pavilion C.
Distance Options
Participants can select from the following race distances:
- 5K: This distance follows a 1.56-mile out-and-back route, completed two times.
- 10K: This distance follows the 1.56-mile out-and-back route, completed four times.
- Half Marathon: This 13.1-mile distance follows a 2.18-mile out-and-back route, completed six times.
Race Details
The event has a strict time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. All registration must be completed online in advance, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the event location shortly before the start.
Additional Features
Finisher medals are provided to those who complete their respective courses. While not required, participants have the option to compete in costume. A best costume award is determined at the beginning of the event, and a group photo is taken before the race commences.
