About the race
Medal Madness 5K, 10K and 13.1M takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina on 06/26/2027. The event is based at 9729 Mallard Creek Rd, starting at Mallard Creek Playground across from Mallard Creek Elementary School.
The event includes the following distances:

- 13.1M
The 5K and 10K use the same out and back route of about 3.11 miles per full loop; the 5K completes the loop once and the 10K twice. The half marathon uses an out and back loop of about 3.275 miles and is completed four times. The course has a hill at the start and finish. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. Registration fees listed by event are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the 13.1 mile event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
