Squirrel 5K, 10K, & 13.1M
The event is held at Mallard Creek Playground across from Mallard Creek Elementary School, 9729 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte NC 28267, US. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race.
Course notes indicate a hill at the start and finish area. The event uses out and back course segments for each distance. The listed segment lengths and lap counts are:
- 5K: $30 registration fee
- 10K: $45 registration fee
- 13.1M: $65 registration fee
The 5K and 10K share a 1.56 mile out and back segment (approximately 3.11 miles total); the 5K completes that segment once and the 10K twice. The half marathon uses a 1.64 mile out and back segment (approximately 3.275 miles per lap) and completes that segment four times.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. The organizer specifies packet pickup and registration details as noted above. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
