Pirate 5K, 10K and Half Marathon - Charlotte NC
The event offers three road race distances that begin and end at Mallard Creek Playground, located across from Mallard Creek Elementary School at 9729 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28267.
The courses are laid out as out and back routes. The 5K uses the route once and the 10K uses the same route twice. The half marathon uses an out and back course that is completed four times. The course includes a hill at the start and finish. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Registration is handled through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Entry fees listed for each distance are:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Entry fees per the organizer are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the Half Marathon. Packet pickup and other event logistics are arranged by the organizer.
