Medal Madness in Charlotte
The event takes place at Mallard Creek Playground, across from Mallard Creek Elementary School, 9729 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28267. It offers multiple road race distances on measured out-and-back courses.
The course layout includes a hill at the start and finish area. A course time limit is set at 3 hours and 30 minutes. Registration is managed through RunSignup and there is no on-site registration.
Distances offered:
- 5K (registration fee $30.00)
- 10K (registration fee $45.00)
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) (registration fee $65.00)
Course details: The 5K and 10K use a 1.56 mile loop described as an out-and-back totaling 3.11 miles; the 5K completes that out-and-back once and the 10K twice. The Half Marathon uses a 1.64 mile out-and-back loop described as 3.28 miles per lap, repeated four times.
