US Road Running - Charlotte
The US Road Running event in Charlotte features a selection of road races held at the Mallard Creek Playground, located across from Mallard Creek Elementary School. This athletic gathering offers three distinct distances on out-and-back courses. Participants can expect a terrain that includes a hill located at the start and finish line area.
Available distances include:
- 5K: A single loop of the out-and-back course.
- 10K: Two laps of the designated out-and-back route.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of the 3.275-mile out-and-back course.
The event is part of the US Road Running race series and is open to the public. Registration must be completed online through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration. All participants have a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete their chosen distance.
Packet pickup is available at the race location shortly before the event begins. In addition to the standard race activities, the event includes a best costume contest and provides finisher medals to all participants who complete their race.
