Event overview
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for December 6, 2025, at Marion Diehl Park in Charlotte, North Carolina (2229 Tyvola Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210). The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. The start area is next to the Marion Diehl Adaptive Field. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Finisher medals are provided. The organizer also lists a shirt and gear shop, a best costume feature, series points, and awards.
Courses
The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back route measuring 3.11 miles. The 5K completes that out-and-back once; the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon uses an out-and-back route measuring 3.28 miles and repeats it four times. Course layouts are described by the organizer as out-and-back formats.
