Event
The New Year 5K, 10K, & 13.1M takes place on January 3, 2026, at Cedar Lane Regional Park in Bel Air, Maryland (1100 Cedar Ln, Bel Air, MD 21015 US). The event includes three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1M (half marathon)
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
Course and race details
The courses are out-and-back. The 5K route is run twice, the 10K route is run four times, and the half marathon route is run six times. Course maps are provided for each distance. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
All finishers receive a themed medal. A group photo is taken at the beginning of each race, and a best costume award is given at the beginning of the race. The race earns series points toward the US Road Running Race Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
