Event overview
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for June 6, 2026, at Ben Geren Regional Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas (7200 Zero St, Fort Smith, AR 72903). The event includes three distance options: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon (13.1). All participants must register online in advance; there is no on-site registration.
Courses and logistics
The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back course segment. The segment is listed as 0.78 miles and the full out-and-back as 1.56 miles; the 5K repeats that segment two times and the 10K repeats it four times. The Half Marathon uses a separate out-and-back segment listed as 1.09 miles and the full out-and-back as 2.18 miles; the Half Marathon repeats that segment six times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race start. Parking is recommended in the lot across from the playground.
