The 5K is an out-and-back to Charlie Daniels Park. The 10K course and both ruck courses incorporate the greenway and neighborhood sections.
Event formats:
- Half and Half Marathon: 13.1 miles two-loop course through greenway and Jackson Hills
- 10K: 10 kilometers course through greenway and neighborhoods
- 5K: 5 kilometers out-and-back to Charlie Daniels Park

A rucking division requires weighted packs with specific minimum weights: participants over 150 lb carry 20 lb dry weight; participants under 150 lb carry 10 lb dry weight. Weigh-ins occur 45 minutes before the race and the weight must remain for the event. Ruck prize winners must compete with a weighted backpack; distributed weight systems are not eligible for those prizes. The event uses a mass start and chip timing.
Aid stations are placed every 2 miles and supply GU products, BCAAs, water, and fruit. Bathroom facilities are available near the high school fields and in Charlie Daniels Park. Packet pick-up occurs Friday at Billy Goat Coffee Cafe with time to be determined and on race day from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. Registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes May 31, 2026. Entry fees listed include $70 for the half, $50 for 10K and ruck 10K, and $40 for 5K and ruck 5K. Proceeds benefit Rest Stop Ministries, whose mission is to restore survivors and address human trafficking. Participants receive event items and a finishing medal with registration deadlines for guaranteed giveaways noted as to be determined. Awards are given by age groups and overall places as specified for running and rucking divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
