Run for Freedom : Mount Juliet, TN
Run for Freedom is an annual community event held in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, supporting Rest Stop Ministries, a faith based nonprofit that provides long term residential restoration, workforce development, and ongoing support for adult female survivors of human trafficking.
The event offers multiple running and rucking distances with courses that pass through local greenway areas, Charlie Daniels Park, and the Jackson Hills neighborhood. The Half Marathon follows a two loop course that incorporates the park and neighborhood sections and returns to Mount Juliet High School at 1875 Golden Bear Gateway.

Timing and logistics: the event will use a mass start and chip timing. Packet pick up is available the day before at Billy Goat Coffee Cafe and on race day at Mount Juliet High School. Aid stations are placed approximately every two miles and are stocked with energy gels, BCAAs, water, and fruit. Bathroom facilities are available near the high school fields and in Charlie Daniels Park.
Rucking division details include required dry weight based on body weight: over 150 lb carry 20 lb, under 150 lb carry 10 lb. Weight must be a clearly stamped plate or similar item and may be checked on course; weight that shifts away from the back is not eligible for ruck awards.
