Hale Harvest 5K Run
The Hale Harvest 5K Run takes place at Hale Farm & Village in Akron, Ohio, on October 10, 2026. The event is part of the site’s Harvest Festival weekend and runs through the village, sugar bush, pastures, and scenic trails on paved, grass, and gravel surfaces. The course may not be stroller-friendly, though strollers are allowed. Pets are not permitted on the grounds except for service animals.
The run benefits InHale, an educational initiative that uses historic and natural resources to support sustainable agriculture, civic leadership, education, and recreation. Awards for the top three overall finishers and the top male and female finishers per category are hand-crafted pieces made by Hale Farm & Village’s Early American Craft and Trade artisans.
Race entries include race bibs and admission into Hale Farm for the day of the race. Additional items by event:
- 5K (3.1 miles) includes an official race T-shirt and race bib.
- Kids Dash includes a race bib and a donut after the race.
Registration details list early entry and race day fee levels for the 5K and a separate fee for the Kids Dash. Packet pickup is available on race day.
