HAFI W.E. Run 5K / 10K and Virtual Options
The HAFI W.E. Run is a set of in-person and virtual running events organized to support the High Aspirations Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that funds scholarships for high-achieving graduating seniors in the Metro Atlanta area. Proceeds also support community programs such as the Youth Leadership Academy and College Prep 101. The in-person events take place at Gordon White Park, 1354 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
Event distances include:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 1K Kids Run (0.62 miles), ages 8 and under
There are virtual versions of the 5K and 10K that allow participants to run or walk from any location and submit their times during the event window of September 12 through September 18, 2026. Virtual participants receive a t-shirt and finisher medal by mail. Registration fees listed by the organizer include a fee for the 5K and 10K and no fee for the kids 1K; registration opens and closes on dates provided by the organizer.
The kids 1K requires a parent or legal guardian to be present and accompany the participant during the run. Additional event procedures such as onsite registration and virtual time submission are handled by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
