Hadrian's Wall Half Marathon 2027
The event is the seventh edition of the Hadrian's Wall Half Marathon, a trail race across historic Northumberland landscapes. The route starts at Housesteads Roman Fort and finishes at Tyne Green Country Park in Hexham.

The half marathon follows the Hadrian's Wall Trail Path for about 6 miles from the World Heritage site at Housesteads, then descends to Newbrough, passes through woodland and joins the Tyne Riverside Trail Path. The final 5 miles into Hexham are flat before the finish at Tyne Green Country Park.
Logistics are provided for an A B event. Runners must book the shuttle bus to the start or arrange their own drop-off; there is no return transport after the event. Bag drop is available at registration and all bags are transported to the finish. The event is cani cross friendly with one well controlled dog per person on a lead. Participants set off in groups of 75 to 100 with start allocations based on estimated finish time to protect the historic site and reduce congestion. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event T shirt, a medal and a snack. Public car parking is available in Hexham and car sharing is encouraged.
