Haddon Heights FireCracker 5K : July 4, 2026
The event is a USATF certified 5K held in Haddon Heights, New Jersey, with the course starting and ending at Hoff's Park at 7th and W. High Street. The route is described as flat, fast and mostly shaded, running through tree-lined streets of the town.
The event uses chip timing with instant text messaging that provides finish time and pace. An HD finish-line video will be published and integrated into the online results. Live online results will be streamed while the race is in progress.
Registration opens April 7, 2026 and closes June 4, 2026. The standard fee is $30 through June 4 and $35 starting June 5. In-person packet pickup and on-site registration are available July 3, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, and on race morning, July 4, 6:45 AM to 7:45 AM, at the HH Cabin at Hoff's Park, 8th Ave and W. High Street; on-site registration carries the $35 fee.
A limited-edition year-specific event t-shirt is available for the first 300 participants who pick up their packet and race bib. Shirt quantities are limited by size and will be distributed first-come, first-served. Overall cash awards are offered: 1st place male and female $150 each, 2nd place $100 each, and 3rd place $50 each.
