Gypsum Daze 5K Run & Walk
The Gypsum Daze 5K Run & Walk is a community athletic event held in Gypsum, Colorado. This event has a long history in the town, having been held for over 30 years. The race is open to participants of various experience levels, including those looking to set a personal record or those participating for exercise.

The race follows a loop course that begins and finishes at the intersection of Valley Road and Lundgren Boulevard, marked by the Gypsum Daze Arch. The route is staffed and marked throughout the duration of the event. Participants should note that there are no water or aid stations located along the course itself; however, water and light snacks are provided for participants at the finish line.
Registered participants receive a swag bag that includes a branded running belt and a hat. On the morning of the event, participants must report to the tent near the start line to collect their bib numbers, as there is no early pickup option available.
Awards are presented to the first, second, and third place overall male and female finishers. Recognition is also provided for male and female winners across several age categories, ranging from 18 and under to 80 and over.
