Boneyard Boogie 14K & 6K
The Boneyard Boogie takes place May 16, 2026 in the Town of Eagle, Colorado. The event is presented by Capitol Public House and both races start and finish at the Eagle Pool & Ice Rink.
- 14K (14.3K / 8.9 miles)
- 6K (6.1K / 3.8 miles)
The longer course runs through pinyon groves and juniper shrubs on predominately single track and gains 1,279 feet, reaching a maximum elevation of 7,718 feet. The 14K course surface is about 87% single track, 11% paved roads and 2% dirt or gravel roads. The shorter course gains 375 feet with a high point near 6,965 feet and is about 96% single track.
Aid stations on both courses provide water at all locations; Skratch Hydration Sport Drink is available at aid stations. Finish-line refreshments include donuts and fresh fruit supplied by Northside Kitchen. The series operates with a minimal waste approach and organizers recommend reusable hydration devices or cups.
Registration and bib pickup are available in advance and on race day, with pre-race pickup at Ptarmigan Sports and day-of pickup at the Eagle Pool & Ice Rink next to the start area. Racer parking is located at the Eagle Bike Park dirt lot adjacent to the pool. Awards and an afterparty with raffles and food are scheduled at Capitol Public House. Race shirts are distributed at the finish. The 14K and 6K both present age-group awards to top three male and female finishers in the listed categories.
