Event overview
Cherokee Recreation and Parks will host the 20th Annual Guns N' Hoses 5K on February 14, 2026, at Hobgood Park, 6688 Bells Ferry Road, Woodstock, GA. The event includes in-person and virtual options. Participants select a team - Guns or Hoses - and a portion of their registration fee is donated to that team’s designated charity: The Frank Reynolds Charities for the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office (Guns) and Goshen Valley Boys Ranch for the Cherokee County Fire Department (Hoses). Dogs on a leash are permitted. The race is a certified qualifying event for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race.

Packet pick-up is available at the Woodstock Recreation Center, 7545 Main Street, Building 200, on Thursday, February 12 and Friday, February 13, or on race day at Hobgood Park. Shirts will not be mailed and must be collected at early pick-up or on race morning while supplies last. Day-of registration will be available. Awards include overall male and female winners and top three male and female in age groups from 10 and under up to 71+. The event will proceed rain or shine unless officials determine conditions are unsafe. Registration fees vary by registration period and include mandatory charges.
