Guns N' Hoses 5K 2026
Cherokee Recreation and Parks will host the 20th annual Guns & Hoses 5K Run/Walk on February 14, 2026, at Hobgood Park, 6688 Bells Ferry Road, Woodstock, GA. The event raises funds for local charities selected by the two teams, Guns and Hoses.
Participants choose to represent Team Guns or Team Hoses when registering, and a portion of each registration fee is donated to the chosen team’s designated charity. The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office charity is The Frank Reynolds Charities, with funds for this event earmarked for the Charlie Ferguson Community Center. The Cherokee County Fire Department charity is the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch. Virtual entries are available alongside in person participation.
Packet pick-up is available at the Woodstock Recreation Center, 7545 Main Street, Building 200, Woodstock, GA, on the days before the event and packets may also be picked up at Hobgood Park on race day. Shirts will not be mailed and must be collected at early pick-up or on race morning while supplies last. Day-of registration is offered at the event.
Awards include overall male and female winners and top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, including categories for 10 and under through 71 plus. Dogs are welcome when kept on a leash. The race is a certified qualifier for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race. The event proceeds support the named local charities.
