Event Details
The Gum Tree 10k takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Fairpark in Tupelo, Mississippi. The event offers three separate activities: a timed 10K Run, a 10K Self-propelled Wheelchair division, and an untimed Strutt Your Mutt Fun Run.
History and Tradition
The race began in 1976 as an out-and-back course on the Natchez Trace Parkway. Held annually on the second Saturday in May, it is described as a long-standing tradition in Tupelo.

After the events, the Mississippi Market is present with over 50 art, craft, and food vendors at Fairpark.
