Gulf Coast Veterans Association 5K Run/Walk
The Gulf Coast Veterans Association 5K Run/Walk is an annual community event held in Long Beach, Mississippi. The event includes a post-race celebration at the park featuring food and finisher shirts. Awards are presented to the overall top male and female finishers, as well as winners in specific age groups. In the heavy load category, specific awards are also given to the top male and female finishers. The 1 Mile Fun Run is a shorter distance option intended for families and those seeking a less intense alternative to the 5K course.
