Gulf Coast Classic 10k & 5k
The event takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the intersection of Highway 90 & Fleitas Ave in Pass Christian, Mississippi. It features a 10k Run, a 5k Run, a 5k Racewalker, and a Kids' 1/2 Mile. The 10k and 5k events start at 8:00 AM, while the Kids' run starts at 9:15 AM and is open to children 12 and under.
The event is a USATF-certified out-and-back course along Scenic Drive, offering views of the Gulf of Mexico. Registration fees are $20 for Gulf Coast Running Club members and $22 for non-members for the 10k and 5k, with an additional processing fee. Late registration on the morning of the race is $25. T-shirts are guaranteed only for pre-registered participants.
Prize money in the form of Academy Sports gift cards is awarded for the 10k: $150 for 1st overall male and female, $100 for 2nd, $75 for 3rd, and $50 for 1st overall masters male and female. There are separate 10k awards for participants in the Senior Olympics (age 50+). Awards are also given for all normal age divisions in the 10k and 5k.
