Event overview
The Guernsey County Crossroads Marathon & Half-marathon is scheduled for May 16, 2026 in Cambridge, Ohio. The event includes two distances:
- Marathon
- Half-marathon
Registration is non-refundable. Standard entry fees listed are $75 for the marathon and $55 for the half-marathon through May 15, with higher day-of-entry rates. Registration closes May 15, 2026.
Course, logistics and awards
The courses run through historic downtown Cambridge, north to Northwood Cemetery, along mostly flat roads with a few hills, and onto the concrete and paved Great Guernsey Trail. The trail extends eight miles toward Lore City, Ohio; runners turn around at the end of the trail and return to a finish near the Guernsey County courthouse. Multiple water, Gatorade, and first aid stations will be available on course. Fruit, water, and Gatorade will be provided at the finish line. Time limits are eight hours for the marathon and four hours for the half-marathon.
Early packet pickup is on Friday, May 15 at 905 Wheeling Ave. Race day packet pickup and registration are at the registration tent at 134 Southgate Pkwy. Race packets include a T-shirt with race logo, swag, a beer ticket for participants 21 and older, and an energy drink for those under 21. Trophies and medals are awarded to top finishers; a custom finisher’s medal is given to every finisher. A Finish Line Festival will follow the race.
