Gryffe Valley Rotary 10K, 5K and kids runs 2026
The event in Houston, Renfrewshire (PA6 7EL) offers organised road and off-road running on lanes and footpaths across the Gryffe Valley. Routes use quiet country leisure lanes and paths between Houston, Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm. The start and finish are at Houston Public Park, with event facilities based at West Church Halls.
Distances include:
- 10K lanes and footpaths between Houston, Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm
- 5K a shorter route on the same network of lanes and paths
- Kids runs in Houston Park for Under 7s and 7–11 age groups
The 5K and 10K use chip on bib timing provided by ProTay. The races are licensed by Scottish Athletics and carry a Certificate of Cause Accuracy. All finishers receive an official time and a medal. Awards are given for overall male and female places, age categories including U16 and 16–17, first over 60, best team of four, and sponsored individual and team prizes.
On-day registration is available but may be more expensive and not guaranteed; online entry closes in advance of race day. Facilities at the venue include parking, changing areas and toilets.
