Festive Foodbank Reindeer Run : Bellahouston Park, Glasgow
The event is a festive-themed charity run taking place at Bellahouston Park, Bellahouston, Glasgow on Sunday, December 13, 2026. It supports The Trussell Trust Foodbanks in Glasgow; donations are transferred directly to local food banks.
The route is a measured 5 km course. The course will be marked and may be marshalled subject to volunteer availability. The route description provided by the organiser notes an outward leg onto Mosspark Boulevard, re-entry to the park at the second left, 1.5 anti clockwise laps of the cricket pitch, a loop past The Palace of Art and House for an Art Lover, then a final lap on the track to the finish line. Timing is by stopwatch and the course has been measured with GPS; there is no chip timing.
Numbers can be collected at a registration tent located at the course start by the sports centre car park between 10:00 and 11:00 on the day. The organisers request that participants keep off the grass near the finish line because of recent wildflower planting.
Additional event details listed include free parking, in person attendance, participation for under 16s when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, prizes for the top three donations from named sponsors, and a refund policy allowing refunds up to seven days before the event.
