Festive Foodbank Reindeer Run 2026
This is a festive charity run organised by Body & Sole Fitness at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on Sunday, December 13, 2026. The event raises donations for The Trussell Trust foodbanks serving Glasgow; donations are transferred directly to local food banks. A minimum suggested donation of £20 per runner is requested when registering multiple participants.
The course is a measured 5 km route that will be marked and, subject to volunteer availability, marshalled. The route description provided by the organiser starts along Mosspark Boulevard, re-enters the park at the second left, includes one and a half anticlockwise laps of the cricket pitch, a loop past the Palace of Art and House for an Art Lover, and finishes with a lap on the track. There is no chip timing; times are recorded with a stopwatch and the course has been measured by GPS.
Numbers are collected at a registration tent at the course start by the sports centre car park prior to the run. Foam antlers are available for participants who wish to wear them. Prizes for the top three donations are provided by event sponsors, and other event supporters are noted. The finish is on the track and participants are asked to stay off grassed wildflower areas. Practical notes include free parking, an age policy that allows under 16s with a parent or legal guardian, and a refund policy up to seven days before the event.
