GRRC Freezeroo Series

Event Overview
The GRRC Freezeroo Series takes place from Saturday December 13, 2025 to Saturday February 21, 2026 in and around Rochester, New York. Runners can register for the full series or for individual races.
The series includes six road races at different locations:
- 5K Don Curran Memorial at 332 Spencerport Road, Rochester (North Star Christian Academy)
- 7.5 miles New Year's Resolution Run at Mendon Ponds Park, 54 Douglas Rd, Pittsford (Stewart Lodge)
- 5 miles Pineway Ponds Park at Pineway Ponds Park, 2200 N. Union St., Spencerport (Boetcher Lodge)
- 5 miles Hearnish at Victor Municipal Park Lodge, 6680 Papparone Drive, Victor
- 8 miles Valentines Run “In Memory of Tom Brannon” at Braddock Bay Park, East Manitou Road, Rochester (Donald C. Schlieter Lodge and Pavilion)
- 4.4 miles White House Challenge at Webster Park, 1100 Lake Rd, Webster
All races are on open roads. Participants are instructed to run on the left, not cut tangents on curves, and share the road.
Registration, Series Rules, and Logistics
GRRC members receive a club discount at checkout. Published fees are:
- Advance single race: $20.00 (members), $25.00 (non-members)
- Day-of-race single race: $30.00 (members), $35.00 (non-members)
- Full series: $70.00 (members), $90.00 (non-members)
To qualify for series prizes, runners must register for the series at their first race and complete at least 4 of the 6 races. The best 4 results count for the final standing. Age groups are based on age on January 1.
Series participants receive one bib and a gift at their first race and use the same bib for all races. Individual-race participants pick up a bib on each race day. There is no advance packet pickup; all packet pickup is on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
